OK….redo moment

I have totally slacked off for the past couple of weeks.  I just have not had enough hours in the day….between wedding stuff and baseball/tball/softball it has been nuts.

So now to throw some extra running into my life, 3 of the 4 (no all stars for Tball) ball players are on all stars.  But of course there is a little snafu to this….opening day is on my wedding day.  I could cry…actually I did last night.  We picked this date because we knew “All stars never starts until the first Saturday of July”.

Alrighty….food for today…..I have my snacks here….granola bar and apple.  I just had ham and cheese on an english muffin.  For lunch I think a salad.

There are only so many hours in the day….

I have a problem…There are not enough hours in the day to cram in everything that I want to do.  I go to work at 7 am, get home at 3, start dinner and get that done by 4-4:30, then out the door for someones baseball/tball/softball game or practice, get home at about 8, organize baths, get them all rolling into bed.

Are you tired from that?  I know I am tired from doing it.  I keep wanting to workout, but with the schedule I am keeping right now, there just are not enough hours in the day.  Now, I know some of you are going to read this and say “start dinner and workout” or “get it done early in the morning” but you have to realize that this is the first time I am able to enjoy what my kids are doing and spend time together after school.  Before Kevin and I moved in together last summer, I had been a single mom raising my 2 and working 3 jobs 7 days a week missing out on anything my kids were doing.  Thank god Kevin or my mom would take my kids to their events since I couldn’t.  I can’t afford to miss their events anymore.  I have soooo much guilt still about everything that I missed over the past couple of years.

Sorry about my rant! 

TGIF!

So I hopped on the scale this morning and am down 1 lb this week!  Hooray!  Move back down please.  I got my butt back into gear and feel so happy about the choices I made this week.  I also was more active and am going to stick to my firm rotation calendar….cant remember what is on for today’s workout, but I will be working out as soon as I get home from work.

My stepson’s 13th birthday was yesterday and I am so proud of myself for not even having a cupcake!  Kevin’s bday was the beginning of the week, so there was my cake a couple of times this week, but I planned it in.

So today I will do good with my food and water and I will workout.
