Ugh it’s Monday!

I say it every Monday….I need to hit the lottery so I don’t have to go to work!  I am realllllly not liking my job.  I took this job a little over a year ago because it was closer to home for me.  I took a massive paycut in doing so, but felt it was worth it so I could do things with the kids.  I was commuting over an hour one way to my old job…this one is 2 miles up the road….but I truly do not like it.  More responsibility, less pay….and the way they do things, I swear I stepped back 30 years.  When I started there, they told me that they wanted someone that would help in changing the way things are done…..well everytime I try to make a change it gets balked.  Add to that the boss’ son that now works for the company in a position that constantly puts my work behind schedule, then I get bitched at for being behind.  I have dotted my I’s and crossed my T’s in covering my own @$$ in that area, but to no avail.  There are not many jobs in this rural area unless you are in healthcare……which I am not.

Sorry for the rambling vent guys! LOL

Onto weight loss……I have weigh in tonight.  I know it is not going to be great, but that is alright.  I was sick almost all last week….eating was not great, virtually no exercise.  I don’t think I gained, more like stayed the same, but we will see tonight.  One week while sick does not undermine all the hard work I have been putting in for over a month!

I have a hard time getting up in the morning and coming into a job where my boss “barks” at me all the time. I never get a please or thank you. That and with this non-profit, there are no pay raises.
I wish for so much more out of my life, but because I don’t know exactly what that is, it’s hard to reach for it. Keep your head up high because we are good enough!
Good luck at weigh in tonight. I was nicly surprised last week. I had a very bad week, yet still had a 1 lb loss.

Good luck with your weigh in. You have such a great attitude about it. Sorry to hear about your job. Just try looking for something else quietly. You never know what might pop up. And never forget, it’s just a job that pays the bills. Sometimes when I was working I would have to remind myself of that very thing or I would drive myself nuts with the other employees.
